Custom Cake Cancellation Policy

The process of making your custom edible work of art starts weeks in advance, from processing the order to ordering the professional supplies needed to craft your particular edible work of art. As you can tell, we pay the utmost attention to detail and start making precision pieces of your order well ahead of time. We are in high demand, and reserve your spot in our schedule as we sell out every week. It is for these reasons your custom cake order is unable to be canceled or rescheduled within 21 days of it’s due date.

Private Lesson Cancellation Policy

The process of preparing for your lesson starts days in advance and our schedule is in high demand. If you do not cancel 48 hours in advance, your $150 per hour teaching fee as well as the cost of the supplies for the lesson are non-refundable.

Party Cancellation Polic

The process of preparing for your party starts days in advance and our schedule is in high demand. The deposit is non-refundable and non-transferable if cancelled within 21 days of your scheduled event. If you have to reschedule within that week, you have the option of having the cakes preserved in a freezer for your future date, or losing the initial $100 deposit for the party.

Wedding Cake Cancellation Policy

By putting down a retainer with us, we in turn reserve your space for that date. We can only do so many cakes per day here at The Makery Co.™. If you cancel your cake order, for any reason, 25% of the total price is a non-refundable retainer. If you cancel within 7 days of the wedding, you forfeit the entire value of the order. You may reschedule your wedding cake for another date up to 60 days previous without penalty. However, the 25% retainer will be lost if rescheduled within 60 days as we have reserved a spot for you on your day, and will lose the ability to fill that vacancy on short notice.

Please understand that the points mentioned in the policies are with reference to the time slots on the www.cakesforbirthday.in website selected by the user in the checkout process.

Orders are processed in time slots and we accept cancellation requests with reference to the time slots selected by customers in the order placed. Consider conditions stated below -

   If the cancellation request comes to Cakesforbirthday before 24 hours to the start of the time slot selected - 10% of the order value is charged as cancellation charges. 90% refund to Bank Account. NOTE - 100% refund can be requested in Cakesforbirthday wallet, where we waive off cancellation charges.

   If the cancellation request comes to Cakesforbirthday between 12 - 24 hours before the start of the time slot selected then - 20% of the order value will be deducted as cancellation charges. 80% refund to Bank Account. NOTE - 100% refund can be requested in Cakesforbirthday wallet, where we waive off cancellation charges.

   If cancellation is request comes to Cakesforbirthday within 12 hours to the start of time slot selected - 100% of the order value will be deducted as cancellation charges. 0% refund to Bank account or 0% to Cakesforbirthday wallet applicable.

In any of the cases above Wallet refunds and Bank, refunds can be initiated only at the discretion of the company considering the reasons of cancellation like unfortunate events, calamities, or unavoidable circumstances. No claims to refund can be made by the customer to overrule above stated clause.

NO cancellation requests are accepted on orders placed in the following categories.

   Same day delivery category - If your date of placing an order and delivery date of that order are the same, we do not accept cancellation requests. If you cancel it, or the receiver does not receive it - you are not entitled to any refund.

   Same-day mid-night delivery orders can not be cancelled.

   Special day orders can not be canceled and no refund is initiated for them.

Same day Orders

We allow users to select the same date of delivery on which he/she is placing the order i.e. order delivery and order placed date is same. We attempt to do same day delivery of the requested products but DO NOT PROMISE so.

We will process same-day delivery orders within 24 hours of the requested date and time slot.
